Editorial policy

United Everyday Living aims to make its explanations useful, fair and easy to check. We distinguish general guidance from opinion, avoid presenting a personal preference as a universal rule, and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.

Accuracy and clarity

We check names, definitions and factual statements against material appropriate to the subject. When a point is uncertain, depends on context or cannot be established, we avoid overstating it. Articles should explain their terms and make the difference between an example and a general claim clear.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for the reader, not to secure a commercial mention. A partnership does not guarantee coverage, and a commercial relationship does not determine an article's conclusions. We do not present promotional copy as independent editorial work.

Corrections

Readers can report an error through the Contact page. Include the article title, the passage or claim concerned, and a clear explanation of the issue. We review correction requests and amend material errors; when a correction changes the meaning of a piece, we make that change clear to readers.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner material is identified so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial coverage. Links or placements connected to a collaboration are labelled in context. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where used, they are identified as AI-generated and are not presented as documentary photographs.

Our working view

A shared life runs on clear agreements

A useful arrangement makes its purpose plain, gives people room to speak, and can be changed when it stops working.
