United Everyday Living welcomes pitches about the ordinary arrangements that shape shared life. We are interested in clear explanations that help readers think through a specific choice, with the limits and trade-offs stated plainly.
What to pitch
Send an idea about shared spaces, household agreements, shared time, group decisions or belongings. A strong pitch identifies the reader's problem, the central idea and the practical step the article will explain. We welcome reported explanation, carefully framed comparisons, useful histories and focused essays grounded in verifiable material.
Make the proposal specific
Include a working title, a short outline, the intended reader and why the subject suits this publication. Say what material or experience informs the piece, and flag any uncertainty, limitations or relevant conflicts of interest. We are less interested in broad advice that could apply to almost anything than in one defined question handled with care.
Send a pitch
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please send a proposal rather than an unsolicited finished article. A pitch is not a promise of publication, and we do not ask contributors to imply credentials or results they do not have.
A shared life runs on clear agreements
A useful arrangement makes its purpose plain, gives people room to speak, and can be changed when it stops working.
